Our VisionOUR VISIONOur vision is clear, taken from Isaiah 61:1-3 and summarised as 3Ps.Preach, Proclaim and Provide that Christ be GlorifiedThe Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to Preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to Proclaim the year of the Lords favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and Provide for those who grief in Zion; to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of Praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendour. Isaiah 61:1-3. (NIV)We seek to minister to the lost, backslidden, downtrodden, downcast, discouraged, backslidden, grieving, diseased, hurting, abused, dying etc in the name of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to see the holistic healing of body, soul and spirit through the reviving power of the Holy Ghost! As man is restored back to God; that we will witness communities, cities and nations being transformed by the reviving power of the Holy Spirit. Our PassionWe are driven by the obedience to the great commission in Matthew 16:19-20 which speaks of winning souls into Gods Kingdom.Harvest of souls is our passion! As a House we offer believers opportunities to grow out of their past life of sin to the fullness of their potential in every imaginable area! Eventually, in the fullness of time, believers mature and are able to offer quality ministry on a local and International scale! Our PastorsPastor Sbanga & Thembi Pastors Sbanga & Thembi are the founding senior pastors of HHI Brisbane Church and are blessed with two children; Nkazimulo Methembe and Lerato Princess. Sbanga is a dynamic speaker with a strong prophetic persuasion who is mightily used in the ministry of the Holy Spirit in its various forms. He is a leader, a visionary, a pastor, a revivalist, a motivational speaker whose heart is to see the manifestation of Gods kingdom. He walks in open heavens wherever he ministers. Thembi is a worshipper with a unique grace of unlocking brass heavens. She has walked with God for more than a decade and has a healing ministry embedded in her. Soft-spoken with a great inner depth on godly matters! Thembi is a leader in herself and a preacher with great compassion. She actively pastors alongside Sbanga. This couple is a blessing to the body of Christ.Our HistoryOUR HISTORYOur HistoryHHI Brisbane Church commenced to the glory of God on the 18th November 2007 under the pioneering leadership of pastors Sbanga & Thembi. Since then the church has grown and since leased premises that house the church office with a future vision of purchasing on land. From its inception, HHI Brisbane Church has been an influential ministry with its popular yearly conferences Open Heavens in July and Apostolic & Prophetic in November. These conferences have attracted people from inter-state and outside Australia as well as various denominations in Brisbane and beyond. HHI Brisbane church is part of the family of HHI Churches worldwide under the apostolic oversight of Apostle Colin & Sarah Nyathi who are based in Zimbabwe, Africa. The scriptures are infallible, inerrant and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16, I Corinthians 2:13)We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as One God existing in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible. (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man. (Luke 1:26 - 35, John 1: 14-18)We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, the necessity of water baptism by immersion, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a real experience subsequent to salvation. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:1-4).That there is a five (5) fold ministry consisting of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, whose purpose is to evangelize and equip the saints (Eph 4:11-17). We also believe in the Supportive of Helps Ministries (Rom 12:5).That scripture teach on the importance of paying tithes and giving of offerings as means of supporting the work of God. (Malachi 3:8-11).We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or divine healing in its varied aspects as practiced in the Early Church . (Acts 4:30, Rom 8:11, I Cor 12:9)We believe in the table of the Lord, commonly called the Communion or the Lord's Supper for believers. (I Cor 11:28-32, Matthew 26:26-28).We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as expressing the true Christian faith. (Ephesians 5:18, II Corinthians 6:14).We believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth again and that the Saints will be caught up to meet Him in the clouds (rapture). (I Cor 15:51-54, Rev 1:7, Matt 24:27-30)
